Why is the Facebook Messenger app different on my IPad from iPhone?

The Facebook Messenger app on my IPad air2 and my iPhone6 are different, why?? Both are up to date and running 10.3 but on phone I have My Day, profile shows my photo, I have Discover in the bottom right corner and have message requests and Scan Code, whatever that is. On my IPad, has none of that. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME FIGURE THIS ISSUE OUT!!!

Hello! that sounds odd, show an image to see what you mean.
I´m also using it on iPhone and iPad and they both look the same have the same tabs at the bottom (home, calls, people, games) and at the top (messages, active, groups).

Are you sure you are using the official Fb messenger app o iPad?

Have you tried deleting the messenger app from the iPad, then reinstall it?
