Why is my WiFi internet not connecting it the iPad is picking it up?

I have a problem with my iPad2. I backed it up to the cloud and now my internet is not working. I have wireless internet and the other devices in the house are picking it up no problem except the iPad. The only reason I tried to back it up was because my computer won't back it up and save my pictures and apps. What should I do?

Try a hard reset. I have noticed once in awhile that wifi is not connected even though my laptop is fine.
