Why is my photo icon is gone from my display?

The little photo icon is not on my display. I have to go to camera and then press done to get to my pictures. Help!

What device are you using? If an iOS device, check your folders. I can only assume it's hidden within one of them.

My wife does this a lot. It's there. Most likely in a folder or the next screen page.
