My sister has a 13? MacBook from 2012 (O S X 10.9.5). Uses it for basic tasks, word, safari, and excel. Today her laptop started acting up. It was connected and charging for about an hour (mac was on sleep), when she opened it up, it shut down.
Now, everytime we turn it on, it shuts down unless we move the cursor and don?t let go of it. She can use the latop all she wants, until she lets go of the cursor, and it shuts down again.
I don?t think it has to do with battery problems, since is shuts down ONLY when we don?t move the cursor. We?ve already tried reseting the NVRAM.
