MacBook Air tethering iPhone 5s very slow

I have a iPhone 5s and I brought an MacBook Air from Apple Store January 2015

I tether my Mac with my iPhone 5s LTE

it used to be very fast , fast like I use it on my iPhone , but I don't know why the Internet speed get very slow recent week
it ridicules slow that it take a lot of time to load a YouTube video that used to take only 30 second to load , now it takes 3 minutes

the download speed is very slow and browsing facebook is very slow too

but when I use my iPhone alone itself the Internet speed is normal and very fast , so the problem comes from the MacBook Air

I only opened safari and only have 1 or 2 taps

Do you have a data plan that throttles speed after a data cap is breached?

no , I have ultimate plan ,
I reset my MacBook Air last night and when I turn it back on the tethering speed is lighting fast again like I use it on my iPhone 5s , but only for 2 hours , it goes very slow again now


all the way when I use the iPhone 5s my speed is alway lighting fast with lte speed , so I want to know why I get so slow on my MacBook Air after1-3 hours

how to fix it

It could be your provider throttles what it sees as tethering after a set time period...

if I reset my MacBook Air now , it will goes very fast again , only for 2 hours

Seems like this is a carrier issue.
