Why is my iphone 5s is not connecting to any games that reqire wifi

My iPhone is showing the wifi symbol but it won't load anywifi games I don't have it to where it's going to use cellular because it's showing it connected. How can I fix that?

Try going to Settings>>General>>Reset>> Reset Network Settings... you'll have to sign in to any previously used wifi hotspots again...
