why is my iPhone 4s not able to turn on

Please help me i tried to upgrade my iOS version on my iPhone 4s it went off during the upgrading process and now it is not more able to turn on. When i plug on charge the apple sign pop on the screen but it is not charging and when i press the power botton it doesn't boot for it to turn on. Since I tried the update my phone is phone
Please help me what should i do

Welcome to iMore! You can try to put your 4s into recovery mode and restore it. You'll need a Mac or PC running iTunes. It's possible that your battery is fried. If you're still using your original battery it's quite old at this point. Apple's iPhone batteries are designed to retain 80% of their original capacity for 500 full charge cycles. After that you're on borrowed time.

Try recovery mode and let us know if it works.

Try leaving it on the charger for over an hour. Then try a hard reset.
Hold the top or side power/sleep button and the home button at the same time until the Apple logo appears, then release. If that doesn't work, you probably do need a new battery.
