why is my ipad air 2 frozen

i tried to reset my ipad air 2, and when it restarted an apple symbol appeared followed by a blank loading bar. I can't turn this off or change it. please help it's been lie this for about 12 hours throughout the night.

Try pressing/holding the home & power buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears again, then let go of the buttons and see what happens...
