Why is my iPad acting crazy since updating?

iPad acting crazy since update.

I updated my iPad 4 the other day, and really didn't use it until a couple a days ago. But, it will just lock up when using safari, and then I have to do a force restart. If I stop using it for any length of time, it will shut itself off. Sometimes, it will restart itself and sometimes it will still be off and I have to cut it back on.

I updated my iPhone 5s, and there appears to be no problems with that.

Has anyone been experiencing any of these problems?

Anything I can do besides doing a a full rstore? I had to lend my PC (I know a PC) to my daughter before she headed back to college yesterday because hers died, so I can't do a restore now.

You could always go visit the daughter at least long enough to restore your iPad...

Thanks for the reply. This may sound crazy, but after a total of 5 or 6 force restarts. It appears to be work normal.
