Why is my battery draining even on the charger

I did a recommended update now my battery is draining even while it is on the charger. I use this in my business and am afraid it will die

Do a hard reset it might just be settling in after the update

I have noticed that using a non official apple charger does that. Have you tried other chargers to test?

Are you doing anything on the phone? if you're playing a game and using the wrong charger, it won't charge fast enough
