its telling me to sign in to see my wish list I sign in and nothing happens i press done in the top right hand corner and still nothing happens i cant download apps if i cant get to the actual app store

Double press the home button on your iPhone and swipe the App Store page up. This will effectively 'force close' the app. Open the app again and it should be OK.

Welcome to iMore! Did you sign out first? Sign out of the App Store. Go to App Store > featured> scroll down to your Apple ID > sign out > then sign back in.
Do a hard reset ( reboot)
Hold the top or side power/sleep button and the home button at the same time until the Apple logo appears, then release.
If that doesn't work, you may need to restore your phone as new. Not from a back up.
