iMore Question

why on iPad can I only see parts of the screen because it's too enlarged?

When trying to work on my new iPad on certain screens, particularly drop box screens, part of the screen is so enlarged I can only see half the information making it impossible for doing anything. I have tried the different zooms, pinches and taps, tried restoring settings, nothing works. I have even compared the same screens on my stepsons iPad and matched the settings but again, nothing. Please help!

If the zoom option isn't enabled in the Accessibility settings then I recommend you restore your device and set it up as new.

As Just_Me_D said, this sounds like the Zoom accessibility feature. If you double-tap the screen using three fingers at the same time, it should temporarily disable the zoom (tapping the same way will reenable it). Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom to disable it for good.
