why on itunes when i plug iphone in it says it is a new phone?

my iphone 5s is on ios 8.1.2. i am jailbroken an i am trying to back up my phone to itunes i have the latest version of itunes. when i plug the phone in it says welcome to your new iphone and ask how i would like to set it up but my iphone is not new and because of this i can not back it up to itunes plz help.

I don't jailbreak my devices, but hopefully someone that does can offer some advice soon.
