Why is audacity not working on el capitan?

why is audacity not working on el capitan

i need help...this is my first mac and it had el capitan on it but i can't open pro tools first or audacity....why isn't this working?

I don't know. Have those apps been updated to work properly with OS X El Capitan?

Audacity works as before on mine.

It's working for me (running El Cap). Maybe a reinstall would help.
