“Of course, Apple Watch isn't a replacement for regular doctor check-ups”
Correct, and this is a misnomer for some. The Watch is closer in equivalence to a regular health clinic checkup between regular doctor visits. Pulse, blood ox, sleep pattern, walking stability among others. An important element of proactive medicine is seeing changes from an established pattern. The fall detection and 911 calling is another excellent feature for elderly parents.
The only issue for my mother and an Apple Watch? It’s tech and I’d expect a lot of calls that go like “Son it says it’s low battery. How do I put a new battery in?”
