Why has my iPhone 6 suddenly stopped working?

My i phone 6 suddenly stopped working

I tried hard reset and the apple icon comes up but then it goes black again. I tried charging it too but no change.
please help

Welcome to iMore! Sounds like it could be a battery issue. If it won't come on at all, take it to an Apple Store and let them check it out.
