Why has my iPhone 5s stopped sounds on text and mail and Whatsup only vibrates?

My i phone 5 s has stopped sounds on text and mail and whats up it only vibrates.

I have tried the following.
Removed sim card and rebooted.
Switched blue tooth off
do not disturb is off
tried changing sounds
airplane off
ios81.3 not downloaded
all sounds were working up to 2 days ago

Check your notification in those apps.
You might wrongly chose off.

same problem...nothing will take it off silent...can it be fixed?
