Home button became a fingerprint and smudge magnet

Hi everyone,

My iPhone 5s home button constantly smudges even right after cleaning it with a microfibre cloth. I made sure my hands are clean and I've let others press the button and still the same problem. Is it only my device with this problem or is that normal? And if anyone knows how to fix that I'd be really thankful Also does anyone know how to clean the phone's receiver?

Happens all time. Pretty sure it's from natural skin oils.

It's really disturbing and doesn't happen with the 6.

I understand, but really, there isn't anything any of us can do about that. Your choices are limited to the following:

A. Deal with it.
B. Clean the home button constantly or whenever the smudges get to you.
C. Stop using the 5S and use the 6 instead.
D. Get a screen protector that also covers the home button and hope it doesn't smudge as much.
