why has iTUnes 12.3 forgotten all my podcast subscriptions?

I recently found that many of my podcasts are no longer updating. When I push the subscribe button nothing happens. I have tried to manually resuscribe and some have subscribed, others still not subscribed.

I don't know, and can only assume Apple is having issues on their end. Contact Apple Support if the problem persists.
