I got a rude shock earlier, when I learned that the Canadian iTunes Appstore DOES NOT include the 5% tax in its displayed price. Nowhere was it mentioned I'd be paying the tax.
The reason why I am angry is cause I had just about enough money to buy two apps that I wanted, but now having bought the first and charged extra, I don't have enough to buy the second app with my store credit. Actually, I have $6 remaining and the app costs $5.79, but it wouldn't let me buy saying "insufficient credit" because I assume there is an additional $0.29 of tax.
This is real disappointing, to learn this the hard way. Can't believe Apple gets away with telling you AT ALL that you're gonna have to pay extra for taxes.
