Why does my iPad take so long to charge?

Hi I'm soofia and my iPad is also taking a very long time to charge and I'm getting so sick of waiting for it to charge up to 100percent and now my iPad is stuck on 97percent and I'm really getting fed up of waiting for my iPad to charge up

What generation of iPad are you using? I would suggest, if the battery percentage is stuck at 97%, reboot the device. After that, you may need to do a reset and restore to get the device back to normal.

The same thing was happening to me. Based on someone's suggestion, I used my iPad charger instead of my iPhone charger -- and that made all of the difference!

Well yes, more charging amps for charging.

The battery in the iPad is huge. And definitely use the bigger charger. Other things such as putting it in Airplane mode, not using it, or turning it off while charging will help it charge faster.

In my experience iPads take a long time to charge. Not sure why
