Why does my iPad 2 only charge when plugged into a computer but not the wall socket?

my iPad 2 charges when plugged into computer but not wall socket

I've tried various cables, plugs and wall sockets and all I get is "Not Charging". When first plugged in a green charging bar flashes but then the error message pops up.

Sounds like the socket itself. Take it to the Apple store for diagnosis.
