4s just goes straight to answerphone and doesn't ring

Is the ringer volume turned down? The silent switch on? When you call it, does the phone light up at all and give you the screen to answer? If no - you may need to deal with your service provider to troubleshoot... the other thing you can do is restore the iOS.

Go to homeland and put in ##update# and hit talk. It will perform a function and when finished you should be ok.
