why does it do this when i turn off my 3gs

sence i upgraded to 3.1 everytime i turn off my iphone by doing the red slider way. the gear will spin 3 times then freeze and then the lock screen will show up again for 30 seconds then it will cut off. it never done this intil i upgraded to 3.1 os. i done a restore as new also. i have a 16gb 3gs.

That's happened to me a couple of times as well. Not sure what's causing it. Might be a bug with 3.1 and hopefully it'll get fixed with a .1 update. Does anyone else have this problem as well?
