Why do I still see 2.7 gb in the photo app, but I only have one picture?

I have copied a lot of photo's to my Windows PC, and deleted them from the iPhone 5. In Settings/General/Usage/Manage Storage, I still see 1.7gb in photos and cameras. How do I reclaim this space?

Also make sure you've deleted them from recently deleted
