Very low volume with Siri and certain apps

Good Morning,

I'm new to iphone and I've had my 6+ for about 6 weeks. Recently I've had very low volume with Siri and last night while using google maps. I recently updated to 8.4 and thinking this may be the culprit. I'm trying to avoid a factory reset if possible. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm running iOS 8.4 on an iPhone 6 Plus and iPad mini, and I'm not having any issues with volume. Have you attempted a forced restart?

Have you gone to Settings >Sounds> slide volume all the way up?
