Why do banner notification fail in landscape mode with 3rd party apps?

It looks like there is a serious softwarebug in iphone 6plus , the problem here is when I am watching a youtube video in landscape mode, any banner notications from third party apps like whatsapp, facebook messenger forces the youtube video to shift to portrait and landscape couple of times, its quite annoying and very difficult to use, whereas any banner notifications from imessage or normal messages works fine......its frustrating...Did anyone notice this?

The problem probably lies with the 3rd party apps since it's only happening with them. Maybe an update for those apps will fix the problem for you.
