Why do addresses from deleted text pop up in my maps?

addresses from deleted messages are popping up when typing a new location

I'm not sure I am understanding what you're asking. Are you saying that address from deleted "text messages" or "email messages" are popping up in the Maps app when you're typing in a location to travel to? If so then that should not be occurring.

With that in mind, what device and OS is this occurring with? Sure, this message is placed in the iPhone 8 section, but I've been long enough to know that it doesn't mean that's the device that's being discussed/used.
