After more than 15 years covering everything Apple, it’s with a heavy heart we announce that we will no longer be publishing new content on iMore and the iMore forums will be closing as of November 1st, 2024.
I was using an Lumia phone before coming to iPhone 6. It has been a nice change of pace and I don't think I can go back Microsoft. I burned too many times by them between the Lumia and the Band recently.
My last phone was S7 Edge. Which is a good phone, I do miss alittle.
Why I buy iPhone 7 Plus -> is a hype, my 2 year contract is due, iOS Eco system (I use 6 Plus previously too), and walking in public, many rock an iphone. It look pretty.
I will also stop customising, OCD about S7 Edge lol.
With iphone , it save a lot of time without needing to tweak much.
Last phone was Nexus 6P. Got the iPhone 7 Plus because I was getting bored with Android. Best phone I have ever owned was the Nexus 5. But, since then, I have been looking for something just as good, and been sorely disappointed. I suppose it wasn't a good sign that within 2 weeks of buying the Nexus 6P, I was already looking at the next one.
My previous phone was Lumia 1520, after using Windows phone for 3 years, recently app gap and quality of apps were troubling me. So decided to purchase 6s. Happy with iOS and Apple hardware.
Tired of Samsung and issues. Part of Note7 debacle stayed in Note series with N5. Could not get 64 Gig. Samsung cancelled. The 7 plus is what got me to switch. Happily ever after. Ordered Jan 11th received Jan 13th. Not looking back. It works. No issues. Customer for life.
Switched from T-Mobile s7 edge when verizon came back with unlimited I traded a co worker phones he was going to T-Mobile for the family plan. Got a 256gb matte black 7 plus out of the deal he got my black s7 edge with 256gb ad card an accessories.
The writing was on the wall for Windows Phone a year ago and Verizon offered me $300 to get any new smartphone worth over $400 retail. Android was a no go—I had tried to use a Samsung Galaxy S3 for a couple of months as a test; couldn't stomach it—so I said a fond farewell to my trusty Nokia Lumia 920, a companion for over three years, and got a Space Gray 64GB iPhone 6s Plus. No regrets.
I got the iPhoneX because i needed an upgrade. I was in between Blackberry releases and wanted something current and didn't want to wait for the updated Keyone sometime next year. Thought i would try iphoneX with the gestures.
My 6s was left out in the cold as other family members moved up to new devices, so my LG Stylo 2 plus got benched. Have to admit, 6s is still pretty nice. Its worth a couple hundred bucks, which is about all I'm willing to pay for a phone.
