Why did my contacts disappear on my macbook pro?

Contacts have disappeared. They are in iCloud and on my iphone and iPad. I have backed up my iphone regularly to my computer and to iCloud. Any suggestions.

I don't know, but reconfiguring iCloud on your MacBook Pro should cause your contacts to re-sync to it.

Make sure you're logged into iCloud on the computer.
