Why couldn't I easily find Apple's Latest Typeface in Font Book

I just recently upgraded my Macbook Air to OS X 10.11, and I understand one of the biggest features is Apple's newest font, San Francisco.

I was doing a search in Font Book after reading Rene Ritchie's comprehensive review of the operating system - he had a picture of Font Book on his computer with the font shown in it - and couldn't find San Francisco anywhere in it. Yet, after searching in Finder, I managed to come across it. Plus, when I clicked on the font it didn't do anything much other than pull up Font Book. Can anyone explain whether I'm having a problem or if it's just happening with certain Mac models? If it's a problem, what are any solutions I could take to solve it?

I would like to practice page layout with this font, and wouldn't mind making documents with this font in the future.
