Why can't my son see me on his iPhone when I call from my ipad

I can see him and me in the corner but he said my signal is weak but it is full.

I'm assuming you're referring to FaceTime. If not, you need to provide a bit more details.

You may have it set to audio, rather than video. Check to make sure video is enabled.
