Why can't I sign in to my apple id?

In the begining I tried to redeem an itunes gift card with a code, but when it said to type in my password it showed a message that said X-Apple-AMD-Action_message. I don't know what this means but I saw what other people suggested and I tried that but it still won't work. So I tried signing out and signing back in but when I tried to sign back in again it still says the same message! Please advise. I really don't want to restore my i phone so if anyone has any ideas please send them all my way. Thanks. BTW I have an Iphone 6 with Ios 8.4.1 Incase that has any effect on the solution. Thanks.
