iMore Question

I have an older panasonic DMC-FX33 camera which connects to macbook with a usb. I recently updated to new macbook pro OS X 10.10.5 which has replaced iphotos with photos. But the computer does not seem to recognize the camera device when plugged in. Is there any fix for this?

Welcome to iMore! When you plug your digital camera in it should create a drive on your desktop. Are you not seeing this? Also, once you launch your Photos app it should detect your camera automatically. If not, try going to File > Import.
