Why can't I download apps on my iPhone 4s iOS 7.1.2?

Can't download apps on iphone 4s iOS 7.1.2

Tried downloading various apps on Apple Store, but not able to install any of those. Network / Cellular data working fine. I signed out & logged in again with AppleID but it's not resolving the problem. App goes upto almost 99% in download phase & then it shows "the app can't be downloaded"
Plz answer ASAP, its very annoying. I'm facing this since last 7-8 days

Did you check to see if the apps are compatible with the iOS that you are running?
