Why can't I download a calendar from an old iPhone to a new one?

I can't download calendar from old iphone to new one

I got a new iphone and the person at the store forgot to transfer my calendar from my old iphone to the new one. Can I still find that data and transfer it over?

what account was it associated with? Just add that account back under settings- mail contacts and calendars. Make sure calendars for that account is turned on.
