Why can't I delete music from my IPad?

Updated to IOS 8.1.3. on my IPad Air. Now I cannot delete individual songs or albums from Music. The swipe left option does not work. I cannot find music under the storage settings to delete all music either. When I use ITunes it shows no music on my device - yet I still have music on my IPad. Any ideas?

It's a bug...that has been around since before 8.1.3 - First, do a sync to iTunes and backup... Then go into settings... General... Reset... Erase content and settings... Then after that finishes, restore the backup and re-sync to iTunes.
