Why can I see my home or lock screen and my screen has lines through it?

A few weeks ago I dropped my phone but it wasn't that bad and I cracked my screen last year but now I have lines through my screen to the (right) side only but then the rest of my screen is blue and grey . I cant even see my messages what time its is or my battery percentage and I am still learning how to answer my calls because I cant see anything except blue and grey. Can you help me?

Welcome to iMore! I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it's time for a new phone. You can try to perform a device restore but this sounds like it's a hardware problem, not a software problem.
