Why aren't my iCloud Notes syncing?

iCloud Notes not syncing

I jut got my new iPhone 6s. I signed to the old iCloud account from my iPhone 5, but the notes folder is empty - they are not synced. Any tips?

Have you made sure under your iCloud setting, the notes tab is toggled on?

iCloud Notes not syncing

I also experienced this, but by continuing to refresh by pulling down the screen in the Notes app they all reappeared.
