Why are there extra spaces automatically given after I type an "I "? on my MacBook Pro.

There has to be a shortcut created that I don't know about, and I think it has to do with that glitch that came out recently on the iPhone. (Where the phone was replacing I with some weird characters). However, I fixed that glitch on my iPhone with an update. AND I no longer have that iPhone anymore. However, my MacBook NOW added spaces after any I . (as you can see in this content.) How do I fix this?

**Edited to add: When I submitted this question, and re-read it...the I's were automatically fixed again?? So apparently as I'm typing it's showing me that it adds these extra spaces, but when I submit something, the extra spaces aren't actually added...Anyone else experiencing this? It's driving me crazy bc I keep thinking it's going to look bad, and I have to keep going back to fix it on my own, just in case when I submit it doesn't auto fix itself.
