Why are free apps not installing in app store?

I saw a free game in app store I wanted to try so I tapped Get then Install and it goes back to Get.
I thought that maybe that particular game was having some issues so I tried a couple of other free apps and got the same results.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Is there a way to fix this?
I also reboot the phone. Not sure if that's what you call it. I held home key and button on top until apple logo appeared.

I have never seen this, but make sure your account information is correct. Also, try signing out of the store and then sign back in.
