Why am I unable to add contacts to exsisting group text threads?

I found directions for adding a contact to an exsisting text thread, but after clicking on details, there is no "Add Contact"

Followed .........
1. Open the group message thread
2. Tap Details in the upper right corner
3. Tap Add Contact to add another party to the group message

No "Add Contact" on my phone. Iphone 5 IOS 8.3

When I hit Add Contact, I get the Add option, and I can select a contact to add to the text thread. Have you tried restarting your device?
