Why am I getting random scratches on my glass screen protector?

Recently, I've been getting heaps of scratches on my glass screen protector. I don't know what's causing them and they just keep appearing. What can I do to remove them or stop more from appearing?

Hey @Jamini Patel 😃 Welcome to iMore.

What screen protector are you currently using and where are you generally storing your iPhone SE?

Sometimes if you get sand or some dust in your pocket / bag it can cause some scratches 😃 Let's look at the bright side, at least it's not your actual screen being scratched.

Well one thing for sure is that it doesn't scratch by itself. So what you could do to prevent it from scratching even more would be stop what's causing scratches, since they can't be removed.

But hey, better your screen protector than your screen!

Sorry to hear about the scratches but as everyone else has pointed out, at least you have the screen protector. Where are you storing your phone?

I pull and place a new glass on my device about every 2-3 months on avg. It does it's job but being in pocket, bags, outside, etc such abrasives will cause micro scratches over time.
