which password to put while restoring a new iphone from backup

Have to setup a new iphone using backup on my laptop. the itunes is asking for a password to start the process. which password is it asking for?? the one i used to unlock my screen or the one i used for downloading the apps from Itune store??

It is asking for the Apple ID password for the Apple ID signed in on the phone.

Most likely this is the one you are using in the iTunes Store.

Which ever password you had on the phone when you backed it up.

If it's an encrypted iTunes backup, it's asking for the password you used to set up encrypted backups...
