Which mobile price plan would be the best for me?

I am a student coming to the Uk to study.
Pay as you talk doesn't work for me so I'm looking for a pay monthly plan. I can only sign a 12 MONTH contract as I am going back to Germany next summer.
I already looked on the networks websites but don't really know which plan to choose.
I text a lot - but the mobile phone will be my only phone during my time in the UK. And I actually do not want to spend more than 25 Pounds.
This is all so confusing so please help!

Since you are staying for only 12 months, don't sign a contract at all! Purchase an iPhone from a private seller and jump onto a Mobile Share Value plan. 3GB, unlimited talk and text for ~$65/mo.

I get 30 gig w rollover trust me now I'm tethering in my car the iPads and kindle fires lol it's awesome!
