Which MacBook Pro 2017 or 2016 should I get?

Is the 2016 15" MacBook Pro still a good buy? I've been looking at Best Buy and they have it for $200 off. Should I pay the extra $200 and get the new ones or should the 2016 model be ok? I plan on getting into Xcode and maybe Final Cut, but this might be down the road some.

I think it's safe to go with the 2017 model. I don't think I can afford the 512 one so I'm going with the 256. All I have to do is sell my late 2013 15" to get some extra money. Gonna wait about a month to see if Best Buy puts them on sale.

If and when Best Buy discounts Apple products it's around major holidays. The 200 off on the older models you saw recently must have been a 4th of July sale. Look for the next big sale labor day, end of summer, cross you fingers it will include more current models, which it JUST might. :)

This Saturday the sale ends. Plus, how do you sell the new ones and the 2016 's at the same price? Looked again today. Their about $200 apart because of the sale price on the 2016s. Sorry.

Updated: Went to Best Buy on Sat July 8. They said the 2016 are on clearance. So it's 2017 for me.
