My work consists mostly of heavy multi tab browsing, email, spreadsheets, YouTube etc. Which model between all the 2016 and 2017 model will give me the most endurance? Size of the screen or other specs aren't important for me, though I am not considering the MacBook Air due to the crappy screen resolution.

Welcome to iMore.

The 13" MacBook Air claims to have the longest battery life at 12 hours. All other MacBooks claim 10 hours with the exception of the 15" MacBook Pro that claims 9 hours. For me, i would say either
  • The Macbook Pro 13" (Non-Touch Bar) (2016)
  • The Macbook Pro 15" (2015).

Most reviews i have watched say that the non touch bar version of the 2016 Macbook Pros last the longest for some reason. The battery is larger than the touch bar variant and it doesn't have a touch bar so maybe thats contributing to the extended life. The reason i said the 2015 Macbook Pro 15" is also the longest is because it has a 99.5 Wh battery. Which is the biggest you will ever find on any laptop. Combined with the latest version of Mac OS and you will be golden :D
