Odessa, does Siri know about the iPhone stereo recording capability? Can I use a binaural mic set like soundman. de to record stereo sound, or better still, can I use a remote lapel mic? I'd like to setup my iPhone X's as cameras and somehow get a quality stereo audio signal along with the video from the iPhoneX.

Followup bonus question, does Apple support any kind of time-code in their iPhone Xs, or newer that allows you to easily drop in a video from multiple iPhones that automatically line-up in time?

I bought 3 iPhone X's and a couple of XSs to use as a portable video recording and production studio. I love them.

You can use a lapel mic and you can probably use Filmic Pro for timestamps because AFAIK timestamps aren't native to iOS.
