I haven’t tried the split screen yet. And I do think about it. Lol
I use for emailing. YouTube shopping. Notes. Music etc

I am going to get my mom the new 2017 IPAD and need help with how much GB to get. She will mainly use it for Netflix, email, web surfing, and a few light games. Would 64GB be enough? Also books thru Kindle books.

So the 2017 iPad starts at 64 GB. The previous 2015 12.9 iPad starts at 32GB. I have a 64 GB and it is enough for me, though I don’t download my full Apple Music Library, and I optimize my iCloud Photo Library. I download just the songs I need for live mixing and download just the photos I need for Affinity Photo. I still use email and Netflix and YouTube with plenty of gigs left

I opted for the 12.9 iPad Pro 2nd Gen 512GB for the screen size and the extra screen space compared to the 10.5". However I find prolonged use holding the larger iPad Pro very tiring and when the updated models arrive with FaceID this fall I am hoping we can get a 12.9" display in the 10.5" form factor we have today so they can reduce the weight.
