Where is the settings icon on iPhone 5?

I have an iPhone 5 and I do not see the "settings" icon to go into to change something.
Any suggestions?

Welcome to iMore! I would suggest pulling down on your home screen and doing a "spotlight" search to locate your settings app.

Welcome to iMore! It's there SOMEWHERE, it's a system app and can not be deleted, it's just lost in the shuffle of apps on your screens. Swipe all the way right to the left most screen, "siri suggestions" You'll see a search line, type in settings and it will take you right there! Alternately, you can also use Siri herself to "open settings"

I bet that is exactly what happened it accidentally got merged in to another icon and created a folder. I've done it! lol

Me too. And I have 24 folders on my screen.
